Roles & Responsibilities

ul>

  • Expertise Development: Gain deep knowledge of our recommendation systems, platforms, and domains, staying updated with the latest industry trends and applied technologies in ML, AI and LLMs to Recommendations.
  • Mentorship and Team Support: Reinforce a positive environment, support mentorship, and assist with onboarding of early in career team members.
  • Documentation and Ethics: Document work in progress, share findings to promote innovation, present to stakeholders, and follow ethics and privacy policies during research processes.

    • Other Requirements:
    Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)br>
      • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)br>
      • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related fieldbr>
      • OR equivalent experience.br>
    • 2+ years of experience with machine learning, data analysis, and modeling.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field AND 5+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)br>
      • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)br>
      • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)br>
      • OR equivalent experience.br>
    • 1+ year(s) experience creating publications (e.g., patents, peer-reviewed academic papers).br>
    • Experience in the shopping domain and recommendation systems.br>
