Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

-Work closely with functional teams (clinical, billing, HIM, etc.) to understand current workflows and future state requirements.

-Perform hands-on configuration and build activities within assigned EMR modules (e.g., Inpatient Orders, Ambulatory Clinic, Revenue Cycle, Pharmacy), ensuring alignment with design specifications.

-Translate clinical and operational needs into precise system settings, templates, rules, and workflows.

-Participate in design sessions, providing technical expertise on EMR capabilities and limitations.

-Create and maintain detailed documentation of EMR configurations, build decisions, and troubleshooting guides.

-Identify, document, and track system defects and issues, working with the project team and vendor for resolution.

-Provide intensive, on-site support during the go-live period, assisting end-users with system navigation, troubleshooting immediate issues, and reinforcing training.

-Provide first and second-level support for EMR-related inquiries and issues from clinicians, nurses, administrative staff, and other users.

Desired Candidate Profile

-Bachelor s degree in information technology, Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, or a related field preferred.

-Minimum 2-5 years of direct experience with Healthcare Information Systems

-Familiarity with clinical or administrative workflows in a hospital setting.

-Experience in system testing and defect management.

- Strong proficiency in navigating and configuring applications.

- Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical users.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure project environment.
