Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide first and second-level support for business-critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
Monitor application performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT, and business users, to analyze and resolve application-related problems.
Document support processes, incident resolutions, and application configurations to maintain comprehensive knowledge bases.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions or enhancements.
Assist in the deployment, configuration, and testing of new application releases and updates.
Train end-users on application functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting steps.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams or vendors and follow up to ensure resolution.
Participate in application maintenance activities, including patch management and system upgrades.
Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and data protection regulations in all support activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in application support, IT support, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of software applications, databases, and operating systems.
Experience with incident management and ticketing systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations or provide after-hours support as needed.
