Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer with deep expertise in fan selection and application engineering within the ventilation and fan manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate fan selection, technical support, and product application aligned with client and project needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Prepare technical proposals with performance curves and data sheets.
- Support sales and projects team with application-specific product selection and customization.
- Handle technical queries from clients and ensure timely support.
- Work closely with the R&D and production teams for customized solutions.
- Maintain documentation of selection criteria, application details, and support material.
- Stay updated with advancements in fan technology, software, and regulations
- Perform detailed fan selection using key parameters including:
- Airflow
- Static Pressure and Total Pressure
- System Resistance
- Duct Configuration
- Temperature and Humidity Conditions
- Altitude and Density Correction Factors
- Noise Level Requirements (dB)
- Motor Type, Power & Efficiency
- Drive Type (Direct, Belt, Coupling)
- Voltage & Frequency Specifications
- Fan Type Suitability (Axial, Centrifugal, Mixed Flow, etc.)
- Installation Constraints & Mounting Type
- Application Environment (Hazardous, Corrosive, High-Temperature)
- Compliance Standards (AMCA, ISO, CE, etc.)
