Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create Revit and 3D Drawings for products such as dampers, Louvers, ductwork, boards, assemblies, etc.
  • Create CAM and CAD BOQ for Duct layout drawings for production and order processing.
  • Work with other modelers and develop a CAD and BIM team.
  • Prepare all engineering drawings for the sales and engineering department
  • Produce production-ready drawings - ensuring the drawing programs are compatible with the machinery, along with all correct hardware & materials being selected
  • Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts
  • Prepare quotations for ductwork, dampers, louvers, VAV boxes, and sound attenuators for customers using ERP systems and Costing sheets.
  • Create OERs (Order Evaluation Requests) for inquiries without a Purchase Order.
  • Generate Sales Orders for all products in ERP systems.
  • Prepare submittals, including acoustic calculations and schedules.
  • Verify quantities for OPRs (Order Processing Requests) in accordance with relevant clients' LPOs.
  • Reporting on the job's progress and drawing completion, before the cutting list is prepared and production is commenced in the factory
  • Generating Daily Production reports to accurately show jobs in progress and scheduled jobs
  • Provide approximate values for each OPR in the ERP.
  • Create OPRs for ductwork, dampers, louvers, VAV boxes, and sound attenuators.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Estimation of HVAC Products: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Take off HVAC Products: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Autocad: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in preparing cost estimates and proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, components, and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to conduct site visits and travel as required.
