Key Responsibilities

Automation & Infrastructure Management

• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible, Shell scripting, and other automation frameworks.
• Create scripts in Bash, Python for operational and deployment automation.

Operations & Reliability

• Manage and troubleshoot Linux systems across production environments.
• Resolve incidents across all layers infrastructure, DNS, NFS, networking, storage, and applications.
• Implement and support Oracle and PostgreSQL replication strategies.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

Collaboration

• Work closely with application teams, system engineers, DBAs, and network engineers to ensure smooth deployments and operational stability.
• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers and DevOps teams to implement automation and operational best practices.

Required Skills

• Automation: Ansible, Shell scripting, Python, Go, Bash.
• OS & Systems: Strong Linux administration.
• Incident & Workflow Tools: PagerDuty Rundeck.
• Networking & Infrastructure: DNS, NFS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls.
• Database: Oracle and PostgreSQL replication knowledge.
• Monitoring: Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack.
• Version Control: Git

Good to Have

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to application deployment topologies and scaling strategies.
