As an Airport Baggage Handler, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operations of airport logistics. You will be responsible for ensuring that luggage and cargo are safely and efficiently loaded, unloaded, and transported between aircraft and airport terminals. This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure, often in various weather conditions. • Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto and from aircraft efficiently.
• Ensure that all items are accounted for and properly labeled before transportation.
• Operate and maintain baggage handling equipment including conveyor belts and trolleys.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and airport regulations at all times during operations.
• Assist with the sorting and distribution of luggage in arrival and departure areas.
• Collaborate with the ground crew to ensure timely baggage handling and aircraft readiness.
• Inspect baggage for damages and report any incidents according to airport procedures.
• Support the resolution of passenger luggage claims or discrepancies as necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of baggage handling areas and equipment.
• Monitor and communicate any operational issues or delays to the appropriate personnel.
• Participate in regular training sessions to keep updated on new procedures and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support airport operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred for this position.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy baggage and cargo safely and efficiently.
• Previous experience in a similar role or in a physically demanding job is ideal.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for effective operations.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and adjust to schedules.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to operate airport ground vehicles is required.
• Ability to pass airport security clearance and adhere to safety regulations.
