Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and improve agricultural machinery and equipment, ensuring they meet the specific needs of various crops and farming practices.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new agricultural projects, helping farmers make informed decisions.
- Develop sustainable farming techniques, integrating modern technology with traditional practices to enhance crop yield and minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborate with agronomists to analyze soil health and develop effective irrigation and drainage systems tailored to specific land conditions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Technology, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
Master's degree or specialized certifications in precision agriculture or sustainable farming practices are preferred for advanced roles.
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in agricultural engineering or related fields to demonstrate practical expertise.
Hands-on experience with agricultural machinery and technology, showcasing an ability to troubleshoot and optimize equipment.
