Aftermarket Sales Engineer – Centrifugal Pumps

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient Aftermarket Sales Engineer to manage and grow the aftermarket business for centrifugal pumps across Saudi Arabia. The role involves promoting spare parts, service contracts, retrofits, and repair services, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new aftermarket sales opportunities for centrifugal pumps across assigned territories.
• Promote and sell spare parts, repair services, site support, performance upgrades, and long-term service agreements (LTSA).
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Water sectors.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and troubleshooting of pump performance issues.
• Coordinate with service centers, OEMs, and supply chain teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Prepare and submit technically and commercially competitive proposals.
• Work closely with engineering and service teams to offer tailored technical solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates regularly.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety, and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of experience in sales or service of centrifugal pumps or rotating equipment.
• Strong understanding of pump internals, repair methodologies, and basic hydraulics.
• Familiarity with major OEMs such as Sulzer, Flowserve, KSB, Sundyne, etc.
• Valid Saudi Driving License and willingness to travel extensively across the Kingdom.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP / CRM systems.
• Established client network in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Water sectors.
• Knowledge of API 610 standards and pump performance calculations.
