Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Ads Operations Specialist will manage trafficking, QA, and launch readiness across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other platforms. The role focuses on preparing campaigns for handoff, monitoring for anomalies, and supporting operational excellence as the team scales. This is an execution-heavy role that contributes to shaping ad operations playbooks, tools, and workflows.
Trafficking & Setup
Build campaigns for 6+ clients following naming conventions, specs, and flighting requirements.
Map audiences, placements, and tracking parameters across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok.
QA (Pre- & Post-Handoff)
Validate creatives, ad sizes/durations, click-through paths, UTMs, and basic tag/pixel firing in staging.
Confirm platform policy compliance to prevent rejections.
Launch Handoff
Prepare trafficking sheets and launch checklists for clean handoffs.
Coordinate with channel leads responsible for activating campaigns.
Monitor & Escalate
Track pacing, delivery, and disapprovals.
Triage issues such as creative rejections, under-delivery, and tracking inconsistencies, providing clear next steps.
Collaboration
Partner with the client strategy team and channel leads to meet requirements and timelines.
Standards & Safety
Apply brand-safety and suitability settings, allow/block lists, and client guidelines where needed.
Internal Guide
Contribute to internal learning by building and sharing ad ops insights, best practices, and operational improvements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
2 4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience in ad operations or paid media execution.
Strong preference for previous agency experience.
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field (preferred).
Expertise in trafficking within Google Ads and Meta; exposure to additional media platforms is a plus.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, including with senior stakeholders.
Strong urgency and timely escalation while maintaining quality.
Advanced time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
High attention to detail in specs, naming conventions, UTMs, and policy validation.
Passion for consumer marketing, advertising, and the agency environment.
Continuous learning mindset with interest in staying current on digital advertising trends.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to identify gaps, propose solutions, and develop lightweight tools and checklists.
Ability to maintain a clean, quiet remote work environment suitable for video conferencing and virtual collaboration.
