The accountant is responsible for the treasury function for multiple cost centres, providing reports and variance analysis into the department and assisting.

The accountant is responsible for the treasury function for multiple cost centres, providing reports and variance analysis into the department and assisting the financial accountants to put together the final month end accounts as well as assisting with administrative duties all relevant to company policies and departmental expectations.

Maintain and safe custody of petty cash JA and reconciliation of physical cash on a daily basis

Receive and record all cash receipts and payment transactions in the system.

Receive and verify payment requisitions from the departments.

Preparing cheques and delivery of signed cheques as per requisitions.

Close the payment vouchers with relevant charge vouchers and original receipts.

Receive, verify and process the advance cash requests from operations.

Reconciliation of petty cash account with GL.

Monthly reconciliation of all supplier statements to ensure proper cost booking

Provide Daily Cash & Bank report

Preparing monthly supplier payments

Assist with miscellaneous reports and analysis as directed

Ensure filing of documents on daily basis

Verifying jobs and closing the jobs

Minimum 1 year accounting experience in the UAE

Communication and interpersonal skills

Analytical and problem -solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficient in MS Excel

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
