Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist managing SHARP Middle East BOMD Accounting team by managing and executing various daily accounting and finance related tasks as well as reporting. The position holder is responsible for accounting and finance related tasks including managing of payables (including arrangement of payments), bank reconciliation, , branch/liaison office coordination, fixed asset, , corporate credit card/travel expense, general daily/monthly accounting duties (incl. preparation and entry of journal vouchers) and preparation of various management reports. In addition, the position holder fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including government representatives, bank representatives and service providers.

A. Core Responsibilities:

Fixed assets Management

· Ensure all company assets are recorded and counted in AX system and matching SAP system.

· Conduct counting of fixed assets every fiscal including coordination with each division and obtaining fixed asset physical count result and reconciliation of asset report.

· Download all the additions and disposals in SAP and reconcile with approved CEA.

· Preparation of respective JVs including addition, disposal, depreciation and write-offs.

· Preparation of FA report on a monthly basis.

Bank Reconciliation

· Manage 20+ bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely records of all transactions along with bank statements.

· Perform reconciliation on weekly basis and during month-end closing.

Branch Transaction Management

· Oversee SHARP South Africa and Morocco branches financial transactions.

· Update all transaction records and liaise with branch members to ensure Checking and recording all transactions and liaise with branch members to ensure all transactions are recorded.

· Lead the Branch DN Issuance process.

· Liaise with team members along with other branch teams to conduct the cashflow forecast.

Business Expense Management

· Verify corporate credit card usage and encode GL code (preparation of Journal voucher) in a timely manner.

· Ensure compliance with company policies when checking and recording all expenses incurred in corporate credit card. · Ensure travel expenses are checked with daily allowance together with all documents.

· Ensure all expenses are reviewed and accruals are accurately taken.

· Preparation of Non-Trade Account Payable report on a monthly basis.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Finance and Economics can be an additional,

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Executive MBA or equivalent is preferred.

Finance Certifications such as CPA, CFA, CTP, and CRMA are advantageous.

Experience:

Minimum -3 and maximum -6 years of relevant experience, preferably with 2-5 years of experience with a global brand within same or related industry.

Skills Required:

· Accounting Operations Management skills

· Cash Flow Management experience

· Banking and Transactions experience

· Detail-Oriented, Analytical, and Problem-Solving skills are required.

· Proper Leadership and team management skills are essential.

· Strong Microsoft Office skills.

· Extensive experience with SAP.
