Somabay is recruiting an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Zayed office. This role is responsible for ensuring vendor invoices are handled accurately, payments are processed on time, and financial records are maintained to a high standard with a specific emphasis on experience within real estate or construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and process vendor invoices, verifying amounts, approvals and account coding.
Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice queries, reconcile statements, and clear payment discrepancies.
Prepare and execute timely payments for invoices and employee expense claims.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness.
Match invoices against corresponding purchase orders and follow up on any mismatches.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting.
1 3 years of accounting experience; at least 1 year within Real Estate or Construction is mandatory.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and good organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work with vendors and internal teams.
