Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work on reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Work on operational revenues & costs and analysis of monthly variances.
- Review and reconcile all postings from sub-ledgers to the ledger of all financial transactions and implement corrective actions.
- Work on bank reconciliations and related clearing accounts monthly basis.
- Update supplier payments log sheets and updating cash register/forecast for payments.
- Work closely to ensure all supplier payments as per contractual terms & conditions.
- Comply with financial processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen the internal controls.
- Work in Fixed Assets to carry out all activities as part of monthly closing process.
- Support in the improvement of ERP system to streamline accounting activities.
- Support in the month and year-end financial closing processes.
- Work on the financial processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
-Bachelor s degree in Accounting or any related field.
Experience & Skills :
-+3 years of experience in in an accounting role preferably in Energy industry.
-Effective communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Arabic; high focus on teamwork and collaboration.
-Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of IFRS, analytical skills, and other areas related to financial reporting; understanding of the Saudi accounting and tax / Zakat rules.
