Accounting Manager/ Senior Accountant - (Oil & Gas Trading -Must) Capital Chain

l Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing.

l Monitor and reconcile trading P&L, inventory valuation, and cash flows in coordination with the trading desk.

l Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports with insights tailored to oil trading activities.

l Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and local financial reporting requirements.

l Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions regarding audits, tax filings, and financial arrangements.

l Implement financial controls and procedures to mitigate risk in trading operations.

l Work closely with front, middle, and back-office teams to support trade lifecycle from execution to settlement.

l Manage exposure and perform mark-to-market valuations of derivative instruments and physical positions.

l Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis for trading and hedging strategies.

l Assist in systems implementation or enhancement (e.g., Odoo or other ERPs).

l Manage AP and AR processes to ensure timely payment and collection.

l Prepare and process invoices, credit memos, and purchase orders.

l Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

l Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
