Roles & Responsibilities

KADMAR Shipping, the leading Egyptian shipping and logistics company., is looking for a Accounting Manager to lead our finance and accounting function and support the growth of our agency and logistics operations across Egypt.

  • Lead and supervise the accounting team at head office and follow up with branches.
  • Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cost analyses for vessels, jobs, and agencies.
  • Monitor cash flow, collections, and credit control for principals and clients.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
  • Ensure full compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Review and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation.
  • Work closely with operations and commercial teams to support pricing, budgeting, and decision-making.
  • Contribute to the implementation and optimization of ERP / accounting systems and reporting tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA / CMA is a must).

10+ years of experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory / team leader role.

Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or maritime services is a strong advantage.

Solid knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards, VAT, WHT, and income tax.

Strong communication and presentation skills with a data-driven mindset.

Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.

Advanced Excel is mandatory.

Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a strong plus.

Knowledge of SQL or Python for data management and report automation is an advantage.

Ability to build dashboards and visual reports that support management decisions.

Good experience with ERP / accounting systems (implementation or upgrade experience is a plus).
