Job Description

An Accounting Associate plays a pivotal role in the smooth financial operations of an organization. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring that financial transactions are processed efficiently and effectively. The Accounting Associate will work closely with the finance team to support financial and accounting processes, including preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and managing invoices. Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and audits.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standard accounting principles.
  • Handle communication with clients and vendors regarding financial inquiries.
  • Prepare tax returns and assist in the tax planning processes for accuracy.
  • Update and maintain financial records using computerized accounting systems.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for accounting.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in an accounting role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations needed.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
