Position Overview

The Accountant (Real Estate & Property Management) will oversee the financial management of real estate and property assets, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and reporting. The role involves maintaining accurate records of property acquisitions, leases, rentals, expenses, and taxes, while tracking and reconciling related transactions. The Accountant will also be responsible for preparing financial reports on property performance, assisting in valuations and budgeting, and ensuring timely payments of obligations such as utilities, taxes, and service fees. By coordinating with property managers, legal advisors, and the Chief Accountant, the position ensures that all property-related financial activities are transparent, accurate, and efficiently managed.
Position Title: Accountant Real Estate & Property Management
Location: Keserwan, Lebanon
Reporting to: Chief Accountant
Type: Full-time, On-site
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records related to properties, including acquisitions, leases, rentals, maintenance, and disposals.
• Track and reconcile income and expenses from properties (rents, utilities, maintenance costs, taxes, etc.).
• Ensure timely payment of property-related obligations, including taxes, utilities, insurance, and service fees.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses related to property portfolio performance.
• Assist in the valuation, cost analysis, and budgeting for property projects.
• Coordinate with property managers, legal advisors, auditors, and other stakeholders for accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Lebanese property and tax regulations, as well as international requirements where applicable.
• Maintain secure and organized documentation (digital and physical) for all property contracts and related financials.
• Support the Chief Accountant in audits and financial planning activities connected to real estate assets.
Qualifications
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3 5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to real estate, property management, or asset accounting preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Lebanese accounting standards and international real estate accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of accounting software preferred.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

• Property Accounting Expertise: Understanding of real estate financial management, leases, and contracts.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess property portfolio performance and provide insights.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing contracts, expenses, and rental income records.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with property and tax regulations in Lebanon and abroad.
• Organizational Skills: Maintain orderly documentation for multiple properties.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare clear and accurate reports on property assets and transactions.
• Problem-Solving: Address discrepancies and resolve property-related financial issues.
• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive asset-related information with discretion and integrity.
• Time Management: Ensure timely renewals, payments, and reporting obligations.
• Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external service providers.
