Roles & Responsibilities
Position Overview
The Accountant will play a key role in supporting the finance department through the accurate management of records, preparation of reports, and compliance with accounting standards. The position involves maintaining and reconciling financial files and transactions in Lebanon and abroad, overseeing payments and transfers, and ensuring all documentation is properly recorded and accessible. The Accountant will also provide direct support to the Chief Accountant in daily operations, audits, and financial planning, while handling sensitive data with the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Location: Keserwan, Lebanon.
• Reporting to: Chief Accountant.
• Type: Full-time, on-site.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update financial records, statements, and supporting documentation in both local and international contexts.
• Ensure compliance with Lebanese accounting standards and applicable international financial regulations.
• Prepare reconciliations, payments, and transfers while monitoring accounts.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and external advisors as required.
• Support the Chief Accountant in preparing financial reports, summaries, and analyses for management.
• Handle sensitive financial data with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
• Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for financial and administrative records.
Qualifications
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a private or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting practices, with an exposure to international financial frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software preferred.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English; French is an advantage.
