The Sheikh Zayed Private Academies are leading US-curriculum schools in Abu Dhabi, delivering outstanding education for students from Pre-KG to Grade 12. The schools reputations for high quality education, outstanding facilities, and innovative use of technology are well established in the UAE.
The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls is looking to appoint an experienced Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting of all school's financial and asset transactions in line with school standards and as expected by financial auditors.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Accurate reporting of information to relevant stakeholders.
• Payables Management and Reporting, paying suppliers in line with school policy.
• Cost Management, including reporting deficits and surpluses to the management.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT file.
• Reconciliation, maintaining accurate records of all accounts to ensure compliance with internal and external audit processes.
• Reviewing, reconciling, preparing documentation and disbursing the monthly personnel payroll.
• Preparation of the annual school budget in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Preparing monthly MIS (Management Information System) report and ensuring timely submission to the relevant stakeholders.
• Preparation of bank reconciliation reports.
• Preparation and submission of all documents required by auditors.
Requirements:
• Bachelor s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
