Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Process supplier payments and ensure timely settlements.
Taxation & Compliance:
  • Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
  • Ensure all financial transactions comply with UAE laws and regulations.
  • Assist in corporate tax compliance and audits.
Banking & Reconciliation:
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage petty cash and company expenses.
  • Coordinate with banks for financial transactions and documentation.
Audit & Internal Controls:
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls to prevent fraud and ensure transparency.
  • Provide financial reports and insights to management.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Experience with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero)
