Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Accountant position at Neonism SAL plays a crucial role in posting of daily company transactions, ensuring smooth and accurate handling of all financial transactions in compliance with company procedures.
You will be ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial data and supporting the company accounting operations. You will play a key role in maintaining robust financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with critical financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering and recording daily financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Post receipts, invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Ensure proper classification of entries based on the chart of accounts.
- Prepare and post journal vouchers for routine and non-routine transactions.
- Verify supporting documents before posting.
- Maintain a register and chronological filing of all journal vouchers.
- Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger on a monthly basis.
- Reconciling supplier, customer, and business activity accounts.
- Ministry of finance and social security declarations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies .
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements for posting of transactions and document retention.
- Assist in monthly closing procedures and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain organized up to date filing systems (physical and digital) for accounting records
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting field, preferably within a financial institution or fintech company.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency in Accounting softwares and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professional behavior.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
