Strategic Gears is looking for Accountant to join the team in Egypt.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

Assist with data entry and recording financial transactions.
Help prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
Conduct research on accounting issues and provide analytical support.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate with a degree in accounting from a reputable university.
2-3 years of experience in general accounting background (not limited to AP, AR, or GL).
Candidates must have prior exposure to finance operations (e.g., handling expense claims, communications with customers, and coordinating with banks).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
