Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and safeguard company assets.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 8 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office-based setting.
