The accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves preparing and maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial discrepancies, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Duties & responsibilities

Accounting Tasks

Post expenses.

Check accounts, prepare payments, transfers, and reconciliations for local suppliers, and ensure they align with internal controls and accounting standards.

Prepare payments of syndicates (OPL/OML) and follow up on the issuing insurance of shipments.

Prepare banker checks request letters.

Reconcile and rectify all customer ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.

Organize and file all accounting-related documents and records, ensuring they are readily accessible for audit and reference purposes.

Update marketing budget report.

ROI Report.

Track and follow up on special discounts, ensuring they are properly issued and applied to relevant transactions.

Perform other accounting-related tasks as required, ensuring that all duties are completed in alignment with departmental goals.


Sales Management Tasks

Salesmen monthly commission and Incentives.

Medical Representative monthly incentives.

Salesmen sales target Vs. achievement.

Daily Sales Reports.

Update offers sheet.

Follow up on near-expiry products for liquidation and donation.

Samples distribution follow up and inventory management.

Perform other sales management tasks as required.
