Accountant / Finance Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant / Finance Assistant with a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting and UAE VAT regulations, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, Assets, banks operations, Employees expense notes, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Manage closing activities, accruals, prepaid, Intercompany reconciliation …
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support tax filings, audits, and compliance with local regulations
• Handle financial documentation and maintain organized records
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Use accounting software such as SAP efficiently
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and handle VAT filings and audits.
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes
