Accountant - Accounts Receivable Ali & Sons

Purpose: Undertake all accounts receivable activities and ensure accounting transactions are recorded promptly and properly.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Ensure all accounting transactions are completed effectively and efficiently.

Regularly review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accountability and timely reporting.

Issuing/releasing tax invoices, credit notes to customers.

Ensure all payments received are recorded in a timely manner to have a healthy cash flow projection.

Ensure all payments received are allocated properly and cleared accordingly, for accurate reporting.

Preparing and publishing of receivable reports on a timely manner with utmost accuracy.

Reviewing of contracts between Ali & sons Co. and their clients.

Processing of customer refunds promptly, with compliance to customer refund policy.

Ensuring all physical cheques are recorded and deposited in banks.

Abiding to company policies without any exceptions.

Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.

Education: University Degree in Accounting

Certification: CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA preferred

Experience: At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience

Languages: Fluency in English is essential, and Arabic is preferred

Software: MS Office & Other accounting software (e.g ERP, SAP)
