Roles & Responsibilities
Job Role
The Housing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and welfare of staff accommodations. This role ensures that all housing facilities meet safety, hygiene, and comfort standards, while complying with company policies and UAE labor regulations. The Housing Supervisor will coordinate with service providers, maintenance teams, and HR to ensure a high standard of living for all employees.
Job Responsibilities:
Accommodation Management
- Supervise and manage all company-provided staff accommodations.
- Allocate rooms to employees in line with company policy and availability.
- Maintain accurate records of occupancy, check-in/check-out, and housing inventory.
Maintenance & Safety
- Conduct regular inspections of housing facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper upkeep.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams or contractors for timely repairs and replacements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and fire regulations.
Staff Welfare & Conduct
- Address and resolve housing-related concerns or disputes among employees.
- Enforce accommodation rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline.
- Organize periodic awareness sessions on hygiene, safety, and communal living etiquette.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain housing-related documents, including contracts, bills, and maintenance records.
- Monitor utility usage and ensure timely payment of bills.
- Prepare monthly reports on housing status, issues, and improvement plans for management review.
Desired Candidate Profile
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, or Administration preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in staff accommodation or facility management, preferably in catering, hospitality, or large-scale operations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and health & safety regulations.
