Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities


  • Install new air conditioning systems and equipment according to specifications.

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on air conditioning systems and components.

  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems using specialized tools.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and industry best practices.

  • Handle and dispose of hazardous refrigerants following environmental laws and regulations.

  • Repair or replace defective wiring, controls, and components in HVAC systems.

  • Advise customers on the importance of proper system maintenance and upgrades.

  • Keep accurate records of services provided and any issues encountered.

  • Respond to emergency service calls to assess and resolve HVAC malfunctions.

  • Perform equipment inspections and manage preventive maintenance schedules proactively.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of necessary parts and tools.

  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

p>High school diploma or GED equivalent required for this position. Completion of a certified HVAC training program with proven technical skills. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an AC Technician or similar role. Valid licensing or certification as required by state laws or regulations. Strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical equipment operations. Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities essential. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers./p>
