Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Diagnose problems and recommend solutions for HVAC systems to ensure proper function.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance to optimize HVAC system performance.
• Test electrical circuits for continuity and diagnose potential faults in HVAC systems.
• Recharge air conditioning systems with the appropriate refrigerants and monitor efficiency.
• Update service logs and records after maintenance or repairs are completed.
• Commission new air conditioning systems and ensure they meet manufacturer specifications.
• Educate clients on system use and maintenance best practices for longevity and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure worksite safety.
• Collaborate with team members and provide assistance where necessary for complex tasks.
• Conduct system performance tests using specialized tools and equipment for precision.
• Remain up-to-date with the latest HVAC technology advancements and industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar HVAC role.
• Certification or technical degree in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles and the ability to read technical manuals.
• Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools, meters, and other HVAC equipment.
• Physical capability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for accurate troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
