Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute precise welding tasks on various metal types, ensuring adherence to industry standards and blueprints.
- Utilize advanced welding techniques, including TIG and MIG processes, to achieve high-quality welds in challenging positions.
- Conduct thorough inspections of welds, assessing for defects and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize welding procedures and materials for improved efficiency and performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred to ensure foundational knowledge.
- AWS or equivalent welding certification at the 6G level, demonstrating advanced welding capabilities.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on welding experience in industrial settings, showcasing a proven track record of excellence.
- Experience in pipeline welding or structural steel fabrication, indicating familiarity with industry-specific challenges.
